The seeds have an aromatic, spicy, earthy flavour, with notes of lemon and citrus when crushed, and a warm, woody, nutty aroma. Coriandrum sativum is an annual herb and is part of the Apiaceae family.

Also known as Cilantro or Chinese parsley, Coriander is used for both its soft leaf and its seeds, which are the dried fruits of the plant, for infusions and especially in many cuisines around the world. Coriander seeds are used extensively both whole and ground as an individual spice, as well as in many blends and mixes.

These Coriander seeds are typically sourced from Italy and our range also includes dried Coriander leaf.
